Infection signs after mole removal. Normal or not? (photo)

I had a mole removed 5 days ago and it has become increasingly red around the edges and is now yellowish white and releasing pus. I have washed with soap every day and put on Vaseline with a fresh bandaid as per doctors instructions. Should I continue this and it will heal or do I need to see a doctor for oral antibiotics?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, I cannot give you a specific amount of days to wait until you can start using topical medications to your face. I recommend allowing the areas to heal until there is no more scabbing or crusts, then reintroduce topical medications to those three areas...

I have been using a very gentle laser that allows me to shave the mole down one layer at a time. Because the laser is so gentle i rarely have to inject any anesthesia and the whole process may take 5-10 minutes.
