Would lower facelift help the folds/lumps at the corners of my mouth? (photo)

Thank you for your inquiry and for sharing your photographs. The deep plane facelift does tend to help improve the folds at the corners of the mouth; however, it may not significantly reduce the fullness in that area, which is primarily driven by the underlying muscles.

To get a more accurate sense of what a deep plane facelift could achieve for you, I suggest examining your face in a mirror rather than on a phone while lying completely flat without a pillow. This position will offer a clearer representation of how your facial tissues might be repositioned with the procedure, allowing you to better decide if it is the right course of action for you.

It may be possible to do a lip lift with more tissue removed laterally and this could pull up the corners. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. This would take 1 hour to perform under local anesthesia and costs $4,000.
