I need help for filler lumps on perioral mounds. Contacted my Juvederm injector for help (top certified in the state supposedly) and was told I would have to wait two weeks to come. What are my treatment options and should I see another injector rather than going back to this one to fix bulges? I don't think this is regular swelling. Anyone on here in AL willing to do a virtual consult on options?
Answer: Filler It can take up to two weeks for swelling to resolve and the product to settle, which if you had injections recently may be why your injector wanted to wait that length of time before seeing you. If two weeks after your treatment date you still have concerns, you can return to your injector to have the product dissolved.

Answer: Dermal filler Hi @tryagaintoday. It can take up to two weeks for swelling to resolve and for the product to settle in. If you are unhappy after two weeks, I recommend dissolving the product with Hyaluronidase. Best of luck, Dr. Nima

Answer: Facial Slimming — Masseter Botox, Facetite/Renuvion J Plasma, Buccal Fat Pad Removal, Fillers to sculpt the Cheek/Jawline/Chin if you are unhappy with fillers just reverse them with hyaluronidase. however, most patients wait 2-3 weeks and it settles or with RF facials to help soften the look. threads, morpheus, and thermage all help this, you may need an early facelift or accutite if you are unhappy with fillers. most of my younger patients do buccal fat pad reduction, facetite/liposuction of the neck, and fillers to chin/cheeks/jawline/temples, to give them a more chiseled face. see my IG and links. at home derma-rolling should be started to Improve texture and tone and tightening along jawline (see link where we have a recommended daily skincare and weekly MTS + anteageMD derma-rolling protocol). For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed. Options include: 1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face 2. Factite or Renuvion/J Plasma to tighten the lower face, jawline, and chin to reduce fat and give the jawline and neck tightening and shaping. 3. Botox to the masseter to reduce the muscular size of the jaw giving the face an illusion of being more slender 4. Fillers to the jawline, chin, cheeks, temples and brow help to shape the face and make it more angled and defined most of my younger patients consider... 5. deep microneelding RF like morpheus every 2-3 months forever to further improvement tightening 6. early face/neck lift if you want a really tight contour and the most extreme improvement in jawline and neck shaping 7. threads, PDO or Instalift, after neck surgery/facetite to further improve the outcomes and give them long term collagen production and shaping 8. Thermage (radio frequency heating) and Ultherapy (ultrasound muscle tightening) yearly to prevent sagging in the future See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: "Mounds" after Juvederm I think I see what you are referring to but am not sure. Is it possible that the doctor wanted you to wait two weeks to see if this had swelling that would settle down vs. not willing to see you for two weeks? If you just got injected this could be swelling. If is lumping you can try to smooth by- put one finger inside you mouth and one on outside and give this area a good brisk massage, trying to spread material. YOu can't hurt it by doing that and might flatten it some. If you just had this done give this a good week before trying to dissolve or have someone fix it because maybe this is just swelling. If you feel comfortable with your doctor insist on seeing them sooner if you are bothered by this and if you are not feeling like they are giving you the attention that you deserve see someone else. I am not sure that virtual visit best but can do to start. Would be good to feel this, Hope that helped.
