Thank you for your question. 1000 grams (cc’s) is equal to 2.2 pounds. 1300 grams is equivalent to 2.87 pounds. Thank you for your question.
Thank you for your question. There is a simple calculation to convert kilograms to lbs. It is 2.2 pounds per kilogram. 1200 kilograms is roughly 3 pounds. A 1200 kg reduction per breast is a reduction on the larger side
Breast tissue removed after a breast reduction is not typically measured in cc's (i.e. milliliters), which is a volume measurement. The tissue is typically placed on a scale in the operating room and measured in grams, which is a weight measurement. Pounds can be calculated from grams since both are weight measurements (454 grams 1 pound). I would recommend discussing this with your surgeon for further clarification. Your surgeon should be able to provide you with the exact weight, as well as the pathology report. Good communication between patient and surgeon is very important both before and after surgery.Ziyad Hammoudeh, MD

I’m sorry to hear that your insurance has denied your breast reduction. It seems that the best possible option for you will be to pay out of pocket to have the procedure done, and have your surgeon give you all the documents you need to submit to insurance to get reimbursed for the procedure. T...
Breast reduction surgery addresses skin and breast tissue, but not the underlying pectoralis muscle. Your surgery should not affect your ability to gain strength to your chest muscles.
After reading your question and for sharing your photos it does look like you are a good candidate for breast reduction and/ or lift surgery. You should consult in person with a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in breast reduction surgery to learn more about your options. Best of luck
While not perfect, your results are well within acceptable. Significantly better is unrealistic. You should give them another 6 months for all swelling to go away and see how you feel. Hopefully, you will leave them alone. Meantime, please follow your surgeon's advice re scar therapy.
A breast reduction could easily reduce your discomfort due to your enlarged breasts. As for the mastopexy option, I would recommend checking with your particular Insurance plan to see if it covers the procedure.
