Are these breast reduction results acceptable? 3 months post-op.

Question

I feel that they are quite different, the nipples point in different directions.  I was a 34ddd prior and wanted to be a C and they are a D. I feel that the are still a little saggy. I fail the pencil test. My scars are raised and hypertrophic. I still have bra strap/shoulder pain. I think they are still too big. Should I ask my surgeon to redo them or seek a second opinion? Do my breasts look good or could they be improved? Not sure if I was expecting too much or if I should seek a second opinion.

Hi! It's hard to tell without pre-op photos. Overall it looks like you have good results. You have to remember a reduction will not add upper pole fullness. I would suggest your talk to your surgeon about your concerns.

Thank you for you question and photos. Without seeing your before pictures it is difficult to comment on your after photos. That being said, your results are acceptable and I do not think a revision would give you significantly better results. The breasts will still change over the next several months and the scars will continue to improve. I recommend continuing to follow up closely with your plastic surgeon. Best of luck.

While not perfect, your results are well within acceptable. Significantly better is unrealistic. You should give them another 6 months for all swelling to go away and see how you feel. Hopefully, you will leave them alone. Meantime, please follow your surgeon's advice re scar therapy.
