How to fix prominent chin "fat pads"? How much would it cost? (photos)

My actual jaw bone is okay to me, but my chin has this excess fat at the end and protrudes. I have this really deep line and from the side it's not very attractive. I was researching facial liposuction to get this fixed, but also read something about a "submental excision and tuck of the remaining tissue", and in another post they said "intraoral chin pad thinning and bone anchor fixation to the bone to flatten the pad and give it a better profile". How much would this cost, and is this my best way to go?

A submental tuck-up is probably the best surgical approach to debulking the excess fat pads in the chin region to make it look less puffy. However, small amounts of Kybella may also be an option. I have successfully used that on a few patients with very good success and minimal costs and no downtime.

You could be terribly wrong, beware of trivial diagonosis, you need radiology and expert advice; if you may accept to carry out such soft-tissue resection, can be disfiguring if it is not the main cause!Your chin is over prominent, and I talk as decades expert in osseous genioplasties to advance (sliding genioplasties), increase or decreas vertical height (adding bone grafts or slicing a piece), narrowing or broadening the anterior contour, etc. You need a reduction in prominence of the chin and probably (should be X-ray studied) an increase of broadness in the anterior view to avoid such sharp bone spike. The proper way to treat your protruding chin pad is with a submental approach. This access allows the excessive chin tissue to be removed and the chin tissues tucked under the chin bone. An intraoral approach with chin pad thinning and any form of bone fixation will lead to visible contour problems and an unsatisfactory result.
