Would you still perform a BBL if lab tests show glucose level is that of a diabetic?

I recently had my labs test done and my glucose level was that of a diabetic. I have never had a high glucose level. I had my labs redone, but I am still waiting on the results. In the event that I just randomly became diabetic, if you were my doctor would you still perform a BBL? I am anxiously waiting to receive my results and the answer from my doctor. My surgery is in 9 days. I'm 29 and otherwise very healthy. Thanks
