If you are concerned about medication overdose you need to contact your doctor.  You may also have an allergic reaction or a skin infection.  

Acne may be a result of drugs that contain corticosteroids which is given to you to decrease edema .Shedding after hair transplant almost always asymmetrical and no reason to worry about..

Minoxidil can cause transient hair loss over the first several months when first started. But it is temporary. Applying slightly more then the recommended dose really will not make a difference, either in loss or gain of hair. Scalp irritation including redness, especially with the alcohol based solution is very common. I would suggest the foam.ThanksSteven Brown, MD

A long time ago, I ran an experiment using minoxidil on hair transplant patients. I had the patient use minoxidil on one side and not the other side. The result of the study showed no difference between the two sides. If a hair transplant is done well, you do not need to use minoxidil at all.
