I agree that a patient does not have to have peeling in order for Tretinoin to be effective. Tretinoin comes in different strengths (0.025%, 0.05%, and 0.1%) and I'm not certain of the strength that you are currently using. I recommend that you consult with a board-certified dermatologist in your area to be evaluated. If you are applying a milder strength, the board-certified dermatologist after evaluation may suggest a stronger strength. I hope this helps.

Little will help with ice pick scars. Treatments with eMatrix are more effective for boxed scars and rolling acne scars and less likely for ice pick scars. Nevertheless, I recommend RR Retinoid Repair cream to all of my patients.

In my experience, Retin-A can be very drying to patients. I have advised patients in the past to apply the Retin-A every other evening to every third evening when starting Retin-A and gradually try to increase the application to nightly. I also advise them to apply a very thin coat...
Bottom line: best to use sunscreen daily. Clothing does let in UV light and there are several companies that make clothing that greatly decrease this amount. Quick dry and dry sunscreens should not leave you feeling sticky. Window films are rated by light transmission, heat prevention, and UV...
