Is it dangerous to burn the moles off? Would burning the moles leave a scar?? Can it be healed?

Mole removal begins with a comprehensive examination and consultation to determine the likelihood of a mole being worrisome. Excisional and incisional biopsies are reserved for suspicious moles. But it’s good news that most moles are not problematic and are only cosmetic, thus leading to the option of scarless or non-surgical mole removal with lasers and RF and plasma. Thank you for your question.  Moles should be removed by shave excision or surgical excision.  All moles that are removed should be sent to a dermatopathologist for evaluation.  I would recommend seeing a board certified dermatologist/dermatologic surgeon for any mole removal(s).
