Hemosiderin under eyes 2 months post rhinoplasty, should I do Q-Switched 1064-nm Nd: YAG or Picosure? (photo)

Hi, I got a rhinoplasty procedure about 2 months ago. I had significant bruising. It took longer for my bruising to heal up, but I was left with hemosiderin iron deposits under both my eyes. Before I did not have this pigment underneath my eyes and i saw a dermatologist who said that is what i have. Which laser should I get to remove the pigment, picosure or the Q-Switched 1064-nm Nd: YAG? I attached a picture to show it. It has improved a bit in color since last month.

Burn marks are due to hyperpigmentation after an injury to the skin. Picosure can definitely help fade this pigmentation faster but must use the right settings in combination with some topical medicated creams and of course protecting the skin with a good sunscreen.

Hello Lalisa. Unfortunately q-switched lasers like the Picosure cannot lighten your natural skin tone. If you are being told this then you are being misinformed. If you have sun spots, freckles, birthmarks of other forms of skin tone issues like these, then the Picosure may be a good option. ...
