Hello Lalisa. Unfortunately q-switched lasers like the Picosure cannot lighten your natural skin tone. If you are being told this then you are being misinformed. If you have sun spots, freckles, birthmarks of other forms of skin tone issues like these, then the Picosure may be a good option. Pulsed dye lasers are excellent for Rosacea. In a very mild case, we may consider IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) as well. Best of luck.
