I want to ask is ultra shape a procedure which is totally different from coolsculpting? Can I ask how better results can I get from ultra shape, and is ultra shape more discomfort than coolsculpting? Which do you recommend to remove stomach fat ?
Answer: Coolsculpting vs Ultrashape for non invasive fat reduction I have been performing CoolSculpting for at several years and my patients and I in my NYC practice rate this treatment very highly. The safety record is excellent. The fat cells that are effectively treated are permanently killed as opposed to some devices that only empty the triglycerides from the fat cells leaving the cells living to work and accumulate more fat in the future. The discomfort with the freezing that is employed along with suction in CoolSculpting is uncomfortable for just the first few minutes but the rest of the one hour session per area, is a "non issue" for most patients. Usually they're on their cell phones or listening to music or reading during the treatment. Some patients are told in consultation that they would probably need more than one treatment, and I examine them in consultation to determine how many applicators are needed so they know in advance what the cost would be and how many hours to anticipate to be in my practice. Ultrashape has been in the developing phase for U.S. FDA clearance for many years but has been used in South America and other countries with good results for several years, but is a series of three treatments two weeks apart. There is virtually no pain during the treatment. It can take an hour or more depending on the surface area treated. Ultrashape uses ultrasound compared to the freezing and suction used during CoolSculpting. I have been performing Ultrashape for several months but I don't have one year followup experience, nor do most physicians in the U.S. as it only became FDA cleared recently.

Answer: Ultrashape vs Coolsculpting Than you for your question. Personally I have had both treatments done and I prefer the Ultrashape. The Ultrashape takes less time to do an area. (ex 45 minuets Ultrashape for the tummy vs Coolsculpting 3 to 5 hours for the tummy). Typically there is no pain with the Ultrashape vs 10 to 15 minuets of pain while your fat freezes with Coolsculpting. The Ultrashape is less expensive. They are both FDA approved to permanently remove fat from the body. I hope you find this information useful.

Answer: Ultrashape Versus Coolsculpting They are very different, I suggest seeing a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon who does alot of body contouring and can decide between the procedures for you versus liposuction. My entire practice is body shaping/liposuction and lasers. The ultrasound in ultrashape is for contouring small areas, tough to treat areas and results are seen very quickly as with coolsculpting you get inflammation and results come 3-6 months later. There is more too it but a consultation is needed. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: No freezing discomfort with UltraShape Ultrashape utilizes ultrasonic waves to penetrate to the fatty layer of a given body part and destroys the targeted fat cells. Since the fat cell disruption is done by mechanical vibration, there is no heat involved and no discomfort, other than slight vibrating or a buzzing sensation. Since there is no thermal damage (either heating or freezing), there is no swelling or inflammation after the treatment.Additionally, patients are seeing immediate results with UltraShape.
