To be clear, I am NOT asking if this is a common or approved procedure, but I'm simply asking hypothetically if it would be possible. In South Korea, they've developed a seemingly safe (yet unheard of in the west) technique where they're able to surgically ablate up to 60% of the excess bulk of the calf muscle while still retaining functionality. Is this anatomically possible with an excessively bulky trapezius muscle in order to reduce it's size? Thank you!
