What are these little bumps surrounding my bottoms lip? (Photo)

There can be some swelling and/or lumps after lip injections which can last 1-2 weeks. You can apply firm pressure between two fingers on the lips for a few days, for 5 mins a time, in order to help decrease swelling and even out the lumps. If you're unhappy with your final results you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. Best, Dr. Emer

Thank you for your question! It is difficult to tell what those may be as there is no photograph of you prior to the treatment. They don't look significant enough and I would not worry about it. Wait and see what happens over the next two weeks. Best of luck!

It is difficult to know for sure, but these bumps look like milia.  Milia are benign bumps that are usually white or clear in color. Think of them as cousins of acne or pimples.  Milia are extremely common and most often go away on their own.It seems unlikely that the Juvederm injection directly caused these bumps to appear.  It may be from the swelling or inflammation that occurred after your injection.Leave them alone and they should completely resolve over the next several days.  If they do not go away or get worse, call the physician who injected you to have a look.Best of luck!
