Teeth whitening with zoom. Could my eyes be damaged if I didn't wear goggles?

As far as your teeth are concerned, there is no danger of damage from the light. It simply accelerates the whitening process. Concerning your eyes, we always advise wearing glasses as long exposure to the light could cause issues.

I always place goggles on my patient whenever they are having the zoom light used.  It is safe for the teeth, but the light is very bright and with repeated exposure can cause problems with the eyes.
