Hi, I am a women that was experiencing slow progressing diffuse HL. I had a scalp analysis done by a hair transplant surgeon and he recommended Rogaine foam 5% daily. I have been using the foam once a day for the last 15 months with AMAZING results both in slowing down the hairloss and improving growth. My question is, would I be able to get even better results or be able to maintain my results longer if I apply the rogaine 2x day?

Answer: ROGAINE FOAM IS ONCE DAILY FOR WOMEN Great question .... but no.The approved dose of Rogaine foam is one half cap once daily. Studies have shown twice daily is not better. Men, however, require Rogaine twice daily. For women, it's once daily use of the FOAM.

Answer: Rogaine, hair loss, alopecia, minoxidil, dosage According to a recent Cochrane review, Rogaine 2% and 5% are generally equivalent. One study in particular found that Rogaine 5% once daily is equivalent to 2% twice daily. We do not know if you will get even better improvement if you increase the dose of the 5% that you are using, from once daily to twice daily. There is no data to answer this question that I know of. It is likely to be safe. You may try it for 2 months and see whether there is a difference.Be well-
