How to keep hair after rogaine use

If you get benefit from minoxidil so you have to go on with that medication to keep the current hair status.If you quit to use it, hair loss starts again. 

Alopecia just means hair loss and there are over 100 types of alopecia. For female thinning (female androgenetic alopecia), that is correct, you need to use continuously to maintain any benefits. If you stop you will lose benefits UNLESS you switch to another treatments which also helps you. Speak to a hair specialist about these options. For female androgenetic alopecia, options include spironolactone, low level laser and platelet rich plasma. For other alopecias, the same rules with Rogaine don't quite apply in the same way. For example, if one is using Rogaine for alopecia areata, an autoimmune disease causing hair loss, a patient uses Rogaine until the hair regrows and then stops.
