Lost huge weight, have lose skin but don't want to do a tummy tuck. Which of these technology would give me best result? Can both be combined in the same session? Can they be done after reach other? If so how long should I wait in between? Just want to get maximal improvements without the scar and downtime of a tummy tuck!

Answer: BodyTite vs. J-plasma Liposuction alone is not the solution to saggy skin. To a certain extent further volume reduction will serve to further exacerbate the problem. Typically, excisional procedures represent the starting point for bariatric patients. Most will start with their core and work outwards over a series of procedures (depending upon patient preference). Liposuction plays a role as an adjunct. With regards to your specific question, RF skin tightening (BodyTite etc.) is a more controlled (and thus safe) modality for inducing skin tightening through heat. That being said, the skin laxity which is commonly seen in the MWL population often represents too great a challenge for minimally invasive skin tightening tech. As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS). Answer: Loose skin Dear Just_me_but_better, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, treatments like BodyTite or J-Plasma won't have a significant effect if you have a lot of loose skin. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
