In our practice, the majority of brow lift procedures are performed with a coronal approach which gives a much better control of the amount of eyebrow elevation, much better control of eyebrow asymmetry, allows for a better softening of both the frontalis muscles and corrugator muscles. In addition, the hairline will be elevated with a endoscopic lift and facia grafts can be inserted between the eyebrows when there's dermal atrophy in that area.. The coronal brow lift can raise or lower the hairline depending upon patient's desires. Removal of skin and anchoring it with permanent sutures is a much better technique then the endoscopic approach which shifts skin and hold it in place with dissolvable screws.
