Can endotine lateral browlift be reversed? My brows feel as if they are being pulled up at all times. (Photos)

Thank you for your question. It would be helpful to know where you are in the recovery stage. I suggest that you remain patient during your recovery process and continue to check in with your board certified facial plastic surgeon and medical team as you heal.

It is a habit of most plastic surgeons performing endoscopic brow lift to over correct and lift brows higher then needed anticipating that they will descent in time. Allow at least 6 months to see at what level your brows will end up. If further correction (lowering) is needed that can be done using same endoscopic approach. Good luck.

The endocrine will fully resortOver the course of 1-2 years but sometimes scar tissue underneath skin can result in tight feeling.  The endocrine could be removed by reopening the incisions and that might relieve your symptoms.  It is a difficult problem and I would seek advice from your surgeon.  A second opinion might be useful as well but it should be with a very experienced surgeon .

So endotines are dissolving fixation devices. It is rare though not impossible to overdo an endocrine lift. Give it at least 6 months and add some firm massage to help them dissolve away faster. I suspect your brows will drop significantly in this time. If your brows are still high after all that then reversal can reconsidered. Hope that helps. Adam Goodwin
