Hello, I recently got a root canal on my upper right second premolar. It is right next to two molars (I got my wisdom tooth out a while ago). I am planning on getting braces for about 2 years soon to correct my front teeth. Could I possibly extract the tooth and bring my two molars forward? There is also some overlapping on my front teeth... Most of all I wonder if it might look a tad bit weird to move the molars forward but I'm really wondering if this could be an option. Thank you!

It does appear that a space has opened up between your front teeth. I can understand your disappointment. I suggest asking your orthodontist to close the space and possibly place a fixed retainer to hold those teeth together.
