Can I fill a gap of my premolar tooth with braces?

Hello, I recently got a root canal on my upper right second premolar. It is right next to two molars (I got my wisdom tooth out a while ago). I am planning on getting braces for about 2 years soon to correct my front teeth. Could I possibly extract the tooth and bring my two molars forward? There is also some overlapping on my front teeth... Most of all I wonder if it might look a tad bit weird to move the molars forward but I'm really wondering if this could be an option. Thank you!
