I feel like my lateral veneers are too bulky and long. Thoughts? (Photo)

Hi. I also think they look a little bit long, which I suggest exchanging them in case they are porcelain veneers or shaving down the edges to shorter them if they are composite veneers.

Hello, my name is Dr Tyler Hales and I am a cosmetic dentist located in orange county and beverly hills. I think the laterals are a good length and match the front two teeth pretty well. The reason why you feel they look too big is that your smile is very narrow and small. The back teeth angle down and inward and so they don't show as much. The doctor was trying to make those teeth bigger for you and match the front which is why you like them at rest but when you fully smile the back teeth are too small. You would need to do more veneers in order to bring out your smile and showcase those back teeth more. I just don't recommend 6 veneers ever. You would be better off doing 8-10 veneers.

As I can see from the photos, the veneers seem in a whiter shade compared to central incisors. This causes change of perception. A whiter tooth seems bigger to our eye. By the way, your gums around veneers look swollen and reddish that are signs of gingivitis which should be taken care of
