Hello, I am a 19 year old woman with a terrible smiling insecurity. I’ve always been skinny but at some point during puberty my face started to get chubbier. Now I’m too worried about how round my face looks when I’m smiling to even take pictures. I have done loads of research on buccal fat removal but I’m unsure if that’s the right procedure for me as I’m not too found of surgery. Are there any non-surgical alternatives to buccal fat removal surgery that would be best for me?

Thank you so much for your question. It’s completely normal to be little chubbier in the teenage. As a surgeon I will not recommend a procedure as bichectomy to a young lady of your age, there is too many changes your body needs to make yet. Unfortunately, I cannot tells you a non surgical procedures to this case, but recommends you start a different routine of exercises, the fat of your face is one of the last that you body loss when you are in a exercise journey, you need to be consistent and results will show.
