I'm 52, 5ft tall, small boned but very overweight. I would love to be a D but don't know if such a radical reduction would be in my best interest. I would prefer to keep nipple sensation but suspect the nipple will have to be removed and grafted making retained sensation less likely. I do need to reduce the weight on my chest for all the usual reasons. Pros and cons would be appreciated.

If you have undergone the appropriate screening and diagnostic tests, and you have been told the area is benign, then there is no reason why you could not undergo the breast reduction. The area may even come out with the breast tissue removed. You should be safe to proceed. I hope this helps.
