Liposuction + Renuvion combined - better than traditional lipo?

I cannot find much review of these two procedures combined. Is are two combination better than traditional liposuction. Any consideration of these?

Liposuction with Renuvion is a body contouring procedure that removes excess fat while tightening the skin. Traditional liposuction has always been great for targeting unwanted fat deposits, but after the fat has been removed, some patients are dissatisfied with the loose, hanging skin that is a result of liposuction. By combining liposuction with Renuvion, Plastic Surgery Specialists have created a way to solve this dilemma.

Good afternoon RuAluck and thank you for your question. 
When discussing these procedures I find it best discuss them as separate devices. 
While there is some overlap in what liposuction and Renuvion are able to treat, liposuction has a greater ability to debulk soft tissue and I find Renuvion has the ability to produce greater skin contraction. That being said a great deal of a surgical result is not only dependent on the equipment used but also on the patient's individual anatomy and surgeons experience using the instruments. Similarly to understanding how to perform liposuction Renuvion relies on a surgeons clinical experience to determine what setting and degree of treatment may be right for you.
My recommendation would be to schedule an in person consult with an Aesthetic Surgeon who can take the time to highlight what option(s) may be best for you.

Vaser Liposuction with Renuvion skin tightening is a great combination. It gives better, smoother results. It also reduces downtime and recovery. The incisions are smaller. Both combined address excess fat and skin laxity.

Renuvion has three applications.  The original application for which the but the device was developed was to treat endometriosis.  it has also been re-marketed in the last few years as a device used below the skin in conjunction with Liposuction for skin tightening. The third treatment is as an external ablative skin resurfacing tool. For that treatment it can only be used on the face.

It basically can’t be used effectively without Liposuction no people have tried. I bought the device a few years ago and used it for one year. None of my patients saw any skin tightening and I agree with them.  The only difference I noticed by using Renuvion for one year was that my patient had increased pain during and after the procedure.

I don’t believe the device delivers any skin tightening whatsoever and definitely can increase complication rates.

There are still plenty of surgeons who spent good money purchasing these and are tating all the advantages but in my hands the device delivered nothing.

I have since sold it and do not recommend using it.

For ablative facial treatments it may still have some role though I don’t see much advantage over a CO2 laser.
