There should not be a problem with shaving your face the morning after using Retin-A the evening prior.  Retin-A can cause some dryness to the skin, so you may want to use a moisturizer during the day.

I think using retin a is essential to be part of your scar treatment. It is not effective alone and helps remodel and improve scars. I would also consider using microneedling, filler, PRP, TCA Cross, Infini, and possibly laser resurfacing.
