While Retin-A, as well as other topical retinoids, with regular and continued daily use, can help to maintain skin and treat photodamage from chronic ultraviolet, it typically has little impact upon all but the very most superficial wrinkles and crepiness. Sorry. Although the photo provided in inadequate to determine what might be best for you, it would appear that you might profit from The Nonsurgical 3D Vectoring Necklift technique, a simple nonsugical approach using volumizing fillers, to lift and reshape the neck. The additional use of certain fillers reserved for hydrating the skin and increasing skin turgor, known as "skin boosters, can help with the superficial crepy appear of the skin evident in the photo. In my NY practice I would use a combination of Restylane Lyft and Juvederm UltraPlus XC for the vectoring necklift and Restylane Silk for skin boostering. In my Israel satellite facility, where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved injectable volumizers and fillers are available, I would use Hyabell Deep and Princess Volume for the necklift and Restylane Skin Boosters, Juvederm Volite and Hydromax for the crinkliness. Other filler techniques are available, as well, for the eyelid hooding and under eye bags, but these can only be best determined by an in-person examination that allows for palpation and manipulation of skin, And finally, there appears to be generalized loss of facial volume giving rise to smile lines and pronounced jowl formation along the jowline, the latter contributing to the problems seen in the neck. Simply improving these areas, particularly the jawline, with volumizing fillers, can have a significant, secondary positive impact on the neck. Bottom line: you would be wise to seek consultation and treatment by a board certified aesthetic physician and make certain to ask to see his/her personal before and after photos of each after you wish treated. Best of luck.
Thanks for your question. All products are not made the same. Where did you buy it? Was it over the counter or an internet special? Your product may have had the described amount of tretoinin, but didn't have a delivery system and it just stayed on the surface instead of soaking into you...
There should not be a problem with shaving your face the morning after using Retin-A the evening prior. Retin-A can cause some dryness to the skin, so you may want to use a moisturizer during the day.
Thanks for your question and posting pictures. Tretinoin, retinols and Retin-A can be irritating to your skin. We tell our patients to reduce how often they apply it nightly. If you take a break for a couple of days, your face should clear up. When you restart, apply every other night for...
