.03% bimatoprost - Latisse is FDA approved specifically for thickening and lengthening eyelashes. It would be safe to say the results from Latisse have been tremendous. Hope this helps.
According to the company, Lumigan (bimatoprost 0.01 %) can increase the length, number and pigmentation of the eyelashes. Many patients do report improvement with 0.01 % when used off label. But whether 0.01 % is "as effective" as Latisse (bimatoprost 0.03%) has not been shared by the company or independent clinician groups.Only the 0.03 % is formally FDA approved by thinning of the eyelashes.
That is not normal for Latisse to stop working after 6 months. As long as you are applying it, it will continue to help.
Schedule a follow up with the clinic where you purchased the Latisse to discuss your concerns. Discontinue use of Latisse. Ensure you are applying the product as indicated. All the Best.
Latisse has been FDA approved and specifically desgined for application to the eyelid for eyelash growth. Bimatoprost alone is not indicated for this use.All the Best.
