Hi Eleesha.  The first option for your situation would be ABSOLUTE sun avoidance and high strength hydroquinone (6% - 8%).  If that does not work, we actually use the same type of laser as tattoo removal (q-switched) to get rid of the brown marks.  The treatments are very different as they have to be much gentler than tattoo removal to have a positive effect, but when done well, they can help fade the darkening if the bleaching products do not work.For examples of Orange County, CA before and after pictures for dark scar removal, click the link below.
