I'm not sure if I'm on target for 3 months post op. I like my results but are my feelings normal?

I have a feeling of pins and needles sticking me in the upper abdomen. It's still sort of numb. There's a little pooch in the lower area. No real pain but tightness when I eat. I still wear my binder for support, it makes me feel better. Are these feelings normal after 3.5 mos post op?

Because of the nature of healing including the tightness of the abdominal wall due to swelling in a gradual recovery of nerve function which you are reporting is very common. All of this will improve in time.

These type of sensations are normal after a tummy tuck for months after surgery.  If your binder makes you feel better, then you should continue to wear it.

The signs and symptoms you were reporting after a tummy tuck are fairly normal. I would recommend conveying these concerns to your plastic surgeon but more than likely you're progressing in a normal fashion. Good luck to you.
