Thank you for your question. Your'e still in the early stage of healing. After surgery there is a predictable swelling process that mostly resolves over two months, when the final result really settles in. Around 70% of fat that is grafted is typically expected to survive long term. We also put a little extra to account for loss of fat post operative, which is reabsorbed gradually by the body.
About 60% of fat from the transfer is retained and the results are permanent. The size will change with your weight just as the rest of your body does. In other words, the fat acts like it was naturally there. You can get a good idea of the final result after 6 months.
Thank you for your question. Four days after BBL is not enough time to express an opinion of final result, you still early in your healing process. What I recommend you is keep following your PS post op advises to get good results.Kind regards,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
Hello,At four days you are significantly swollen and it's way to early to judge your results. At this point I would not recommend doing anything that could ruin your results especially as you are happy the shape. If after giving yourself months to allow the swelling to subside you are still unhappy with the size then talk with your board certified plastic surgeon about your options. Just like anywhere else on your body, with diet and exercise you can lose the fat from the area to further reduce the size. But, I cannot emphasize to you enough that at this early time you need to be patient and follow your plastic surgeon's advice. You will lose volume naturally due to swelling reduction and due to expected fat loss after transfer.Best of Luck with your healing!Dr. Rednam
Hello hdw25736000,I appreciate your questions! Four days is too soon to evaluate your Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) final outcome. I would suggest you waiting at least 8 weeks for the swelling to recede and evaluate the results. Fortunately, you can burn fat and decrease the size of your buttocks by working out (such as doing squats and lounges). If you are still dissatisfied with the outcome after 8 weeks following a weight loss program by a dietician and a customized exercise program by a professional trainer, consult with your aesthetic plastic surgeon about your concerns and improvements’ options. Best wishes! Dr. De La Cruz.
Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation is very normal. If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon.Good luck :)
With only being 4 days post op you are way too early in the healing process to know what the ending result will be. Right now you are swollen and that can take 3-6 weeks to go down. Also some of the fat that is transferred will be reabsorbed. Please be patient this process can feel like it takes forever but you are just in the beginning. But explain to your doctor how you are feeling and they can help put you at ease as well.
Hello, thanks for the question. You are still too early to know your final results and the inflammation is going to last several months, i suggest to be patient, as in time your BBL will go down. Good Luck.
The fat was placed to superficially in your butt and caused that reddness and discomfort you're feeling because the skin is being compromised from proper blood flow. The wounds need to be treated with Nitropaste and a Xeroform dressing.
