I'm having dermapen treatment. What type of cream or serum can I use for aftercare? (Photo)

I am getting a dermapen treatment done on my abdomen to help with the texture of stretch marks. I was advised to use hyaluronic acid, but I'm not sure what the appropriate ratio/ percentage to use. What are some serums or creams I could purchase for aftercare? The medspa that I go to does not sell any post-op products. Also, I was told they are going to go pretty deep and to expect bleeding. Any advice is appreciated! Please give specific brand names & places to purchase if possible. Thanks!

HA is rather expensive, and simple emollients are cheap. The fact that you are having Dermapen is the difference....not the creams after. The depth and passes will be determined by the Specialist you are seeing. I would personally stretch the skin, and use the Professional Dermapen, followed by Retinol prescription 9 days later. This is an entry level treatment. Most Specialist would treat your striae or stretch marks with CO2 Fractional laser. This works better than Dermapen because it gives CONTROLLED heating of the dermis and remodels scars more efficiently. As a suggestion, you should see a Specialist that offers a variety of treatments. For a peer reviewed article see the attached link.
