As we age, the face naturally loses volume, specifically in areas like the temples, brow area and under eye. Soft tissue fillers like Radiesse are great for lifting the brow, filling out the temples, and making the face appear more youthful. Sculptra is an alternative. Alternatively, fillers like Belotero are great for under the eye to add facial sculpting and contouring with volume loss. I suggest getting a formal consultation with a cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question and photos. You are beautiful in your photos! I do see some flatness on the outer portion of the eyes but nothing too bad. You can place voluma in the temples to help shape the face and add volume to the temple and outer eye areas. Voluma is a hyaluronic acid gel filler that lasts about 1 year for most patients. This must be done by an experienced, board certified cosmetic provider. Hope this helps and good luck to you!
Thank you for your question. Yes, another doctor can easily dissolve any remaining filler you might have. I recommend scheduling a consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can perform an examination to determine where the lingering filler might be and then...

Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
You are both correct! It can be injected and the injection needs to be performed very carefully as there are a great deal of vascular connections that can lead to blindness if overly aggressive and improperly placed filler is injected into this area.
I recommend fillers to soften the nasolabial folds themselves and also lift around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine Sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, skin tightening treatments such as Thermage, Fractora, and Renuvion...
