I have arthritis in my knee and take Meloxicam. When can I take this medication after SculpSure?

I have severe arthritis in my knee and take Meloxicam to help with pain. I had sculpsure a week ago, when can I resume this medication. I have to do a second treatment in another 4 weeks.

Given that meloxicam is an anti-inflammatory medication and you do not want to inhibit the inflammatory response from the treatment, it would be recommended to avoid meloxicam for a period of time.  This is not an exact science, but as a general rule I would recommend avoiding meloxicam until you no longer have any soreness from the area treated.

Part of the efficacy of the SculpSure is the reabsorption of the destroyed fat cells and that is based on an inflammatory reaction.  The general recommendation is not to use any anti inflammatories for 6 weeks after the procedure.
