Congenital ptosis repair & risk at the age 25?

However, the major risk of ptosis repair surgery is the need for a revision surgery. Depending on the surgeon and the procedure used, the revision rates are typically 10-30%. I'm not sure what "6/6" refers to ... ... but if you have ptosis repair in the U.S. by a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon (American Board of Plastic Surgery) or Ophthamologist (American Board of Ophthalmology) who is experienced in ptosis surgery, while you may require multiple procedures most often one is sufficient. Also although partial or complete vision loss is possible, the significantly more likely suboptimal outcomes include residual ptosis and asymmetry of the eyelids.
