I have been confirmed I have severe ptosis in my left eye. It gets to the point where I can hardly see anything. I often have to lift my eyebrow to help my sight. I have been told I will be waiting a year for surgery at the least. I really don't want to start a new school looking like this. My parents were wondering how much is it to go private?

Answer: You need a very experience ptosis surgeon.
I would recommend you have a review with an experienced oculoplastic surgeon to assess the ptosis, evaluate the squint and eyeball (globe) position.

It certainly looks like you have had a very acceptable result considering you are only 14 days. You do have some asymmetry of you orbital region which you may be seeing as a difference. Swelling usually takes 6-8 weeks to fully resolve. If you are at all concerned by all means...
