It can take up to one year to see significant results after PRP injections. I usually recommend 3 treatments spaced 1 month apart with maintenance treamtents every 4 to 6 months.I have seen results in the early stages of treatment even after just one treamtent. This may manifest itself by the patient noticing less hair falling out. Less hair in the sink or brush. After 3 months many will begin to see thickening of existing hair and by 6 months significant growth which can continue up to one year. If I don't see any results after three treatments (will wait 6 months from first treatment) I will not continue treatments and consider other treatment options including surgery.
Hello,In order to see prp treatment's result you need to get it done every 2-3 months in 1 year period. fter couple sessions you will see the change
There is no standard system, quantity, or interval of treatment regarding PRP for hair loss, which is why we currently utilize a proprietary hyperconcentrated platelet rich plasma concentration and treat patients monthly 4 times, then reevaluate after 8 to 12 months. If a patient has a response, then retreatment at follow-up may result in continued efficacy if performed at a 6- to 12-month basis.
PRP results usually appear 3-6 months after beginning a series of PRP treatments because of the cycles hair follicles follow. The resutls can continue to improve up to a year. Typically, we recommend 4 sessions approximately one month apart and then maintaining the results in 4-6 month increments.
As with anything related to hair restoration or hair loss, patience is key as results often take many months to become evident. I typically prescribe a PRP regimen of 3 treatment sessions spaced one month apart initially, followed by maintenance sessions every 6 to 12 months. Most patients do well with this regimen, and I encourage patients to wait 6 to 9 months to assess the results. All the best,
For hair loss, three sessions of PRP therapy are recommended spaced about one month apart. PRP is both injected and applied with microneedling. Because of the way it works, it takes 6-12 months to see the results. PRP can be optimzed by combining the therapy with a low level light source: Theradome.
After 3-4 treatments have been completed at monthly intervals you will begin to see new hair growth. PRP stimulates hair growth but the results take time. You should not expect visible results before you have completed this treatment cycle. Thereafter the hair growth will continue. You will see significant growth beginning at 6 months and continuing thereafter. Patients should seriously consider repeat treatments at 9 months-1 year intervals to maintain their hair regrowth.
You may not see any results after PRP. It all depends on your exam and treatment goals. See a doctor for a proper exam.
In my office, we follow a PRP protocol in which injections are done monthly for 3 months followed by maintenance injections every three months. In my experience with this protocol, I see results really kick in at the 6 month follow up from the very first session. This is also when I usually take ny “after” photos. It is critical to continue with regularly scheduled maintenance treatments or the results are likely to fade. It’s also important to realize that PRP is usually one aspect of a multi pronged approach to hair loss treatment.
Hello.PRP treatment is not a method that will give every patient satisfactory results. It does not affect the already went bald areas. It can enhance still existing hair. Minimum of five sessions PRP must be applied. If not continued the hair loss will resume. So it is treatment that should be continued regularly.

PRP is not necessary after a hair transplant surgery. If your doctor is recommending it, then follow up with your doctor. We have offered PRP for over two years after hair transplant surgery and did not see remarkable difference.
In the right patient if it is performed properly. PRP does NOT bring dead follicles back to life. Thus, in advanced hair loss there is little to no benefit. For early hair loss, 3 sessions spaced 2 months apart generally shows thickening of the treated areas and even thickness in...
