Ultrasound or mammogram before Breast Lift and implants - do surgeons do this?

every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. Generally speaking, ultrasound or mammogram are not required prior to a breast lift. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.

Some surgeons will get a mammogram on every patient prior to implants, and some will get a mammogram based on family history and an examination under the age of 40. Most of us require a mammogram in the past 2 two for women 40 and older.
