Very specific question, how long do you have to wear the very tight bandage like garment? Can you take it off for short periods of time like to shower or just change? Thanks.

Answer: Garments for liposuction After liposuction, you can take the compression garment off usually after 48 hrs to shower and take it of daily after that for showering. Usually you wear it this way for 4-6 weeks.

Answer: How long do you have to wear the very tight bandage like garment? It is best to address all of the post-operative questions with your operating surgeon. Every surgeon has a different protocol. In the absence of any major problems- we usually allow removal and shower after 5-7 days
