when I was about 9 I experienced trauma to my upper lip. My lip began to swell and dad thought it would go away, so he didnt try to treat it. Fast foward to today, its still there, even bigger now, and looks exactly as shown in the picture below. My question is - can a lip reduction remove it? If so, how much would it cost? Its extremely embarrassing and hard to hide, and after 6 years I think its time. Also, if we schedule the appointment soon, how long before the actual procedure? Help? Thanks

Hello,Lips can be reduced in an office setting. It is done usually under local anesthesia and patients are made quite comfortable. The sutures are placed on the inside portion of the lip to help conceal a scar. Final results are between 3-6 months.
