Hello and thank you for your question. I understand your concern and why you're upset. I don't think dry shampoo would cause this level of thinness. I recommend seeing your doctor first and have some bloodwork done to see if something else is going on. Get those results first and if needed then see a dermatologist. I wish you the best.

In a situation like this, it is unlikely dry shampoo alone was the cause. Not impossible but unlikely. What is needed now is a full review by the local dermatologist along with blood tests for CBC, TSH, ferritin, vitamin D and possibly other tests too. A full history of what has happened in the last 2 years is needed in a situation like this. Information about stress, diet, weight loss, prescription medications used and stopped, COVID infections, are all needed. If periods are irregular or there has been episodes of fatigue, joint pains, rashes, diarrhea, sore throat, headaches, then all that needs to be reviewed very carefully. These photos suggest the possibility that other hair issues unrelated to dry shampoo use could possibly be present so a really thorough examination and review by a dermatologist is needed.
