Hi!! I really need some help on this because i dont know what to do about it. I made a big mistake of using so much dry shampoo for over 6 months now and my hair has now fallen out and become thin . Its very upsetting and i wanna fix it. Does it look like it will grow back on its own somehow or is there something i can do to fix this? Im only 26 female and this is a nightmare. I didn't mean for it to get like this. Its making me super depressed. Thank you. Photos of thin missing hair.

There are some things you can do to help your hair grow back and prevent further damage.

Instead, it can clog your hair follicles, dry out your scalp, and weaken your hair strands, leading to breakage and shedding.To reverse the effects of dry shampoo, you need to start washing your hair regularly with a gentle shampoo and conditioner. This will help to remove the residue from your scalp and hair, restore the natural balance of oils, and nourish your hair follicles. You should also avoid using other harsh chemicals or heat styling tools on your hair, as they can further damage your hair and slow down its growth.
In addition to washing your hair properly, you can also try some natural remedies to stimulate your hair growth and improve its health.
* Massaging your scalp with essential oils, such as rosemary, lavender, peppermint, or cedarwood. These oils can increase blood circulation to your scalp, which can promote hair growth and reduce inflammation.* Apply aloe vera gel or juice to your scalp and hair. Aloe vera has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and moisturizing properties that can soothe your scalp, prevent infections, and hydrate your hair.* Taking supplements that contain biotin, collagen, or keratin. Wow this sounds like a very stressful ordeal that you went through in 2023 I hope you found the right hair loss expert to attend your needs. It sounds very strange that you lost all your hair after 6 months of dry shampoo? I wonder if there is anything else going on in the works , I would love to see pictures I don't see them. Dry shampoo can clog your pores certainly and cause some shedding but nothing so significant like you said. Grentle shampoo and conditioner like from free and clear is a good start. I would love to do blood work check, thyroid, iron, inflammatory proteins, vitamin D. Depending on how your follicles look on trichoscope exam I would +/- scalp biopsy if I spotted any scaring or unusual hair loss pattern. Have you had any severe weight loss? Depending what your picture shows nonscarring vs scarring alopecia treatment depends on the complete clinical picture.

You need a proper evaluation so please see you doctor as soon as possible. A dermatologist could help. You need a full examination including trichoscopy and you need the review your full story from birth until now with your doctor. Blood tests are needed. I don’t see any photos here. It’s possible the dry shampoo is a culprit but the main error is thinking it’s the only reason. Issues like stres, low iron, COVID infections, weight loss, starting and stopping prescription medications all need to be considered and fully reviewed. I am suspicious about the dry shampoo being 100 % the reason for your hair loss. Yes, it may have a role but what you need is a very, very thorough evaluation by an expert before jumping to too many conclusions just yet. Without a full panel of blood tests and a full review of your story and health in the last 5 years, one should not be too quick to give a diagnosis.
