Significant hair thinning from Accutane, should I stop?

I’ve been taking accutane for a month now (20mg for 20 days/2 week break cause I lost 10 pills, 40mg for 11 days). I have been experiencing a lot of shedding 15-20 hairs on pillow and significant thinning when I started the 40mg. Pubic hair, beard, and top of head have become extremely thin within those day. My derm told me to start using minoxidil. I was skeptical of continuing accutane, so I spoke to a different derm. She told me the side effects weren’t worth it and to stop accutane. Plz help
