Transitioning off of monoxidil by using rosemary, pumpkin seed and black castor oil?

I Was Wondering If it is possible to cycle off of monoxidil 5% by substituting it with Rosemary, Pumpkin Seed & Black Castor Oil and still keep the hair grown while using minoxidil

Hello and thank you for your question.  While I completely believe some "natural" methods really work for certain things, it is difficult for me to answer your question. There haven't really been any complete studies that would suggest that Rosemary, Pumpkin Seed, and Black Castor Oil will work.

For most people, that answer is no. We don’t really have good studies but of the one that we do have there is a suggestion that rosemary when used twice daily might help men similar to 2 % minoxidil. Unfortunately that was a small study only and unfortunately it was only done with a short duration and unfortunately it only compared 2% minoxidil and not 5%. There have never been good studies in women and never long term studies and never studies comparing rosemary to 5 % and never studies with complex mixtures like you describe. So in short, we don’t know. However, my experience is that it is not a means of cycling off minoxidil for most patients.
