8 days post op axillary breast tissue removal. How long after this procedure can one typically expect to see final result?

Be patient.  You are very early post procedure.  As you know, underarm fullness is often accessory breast tissue in a female (tail of the breast) and can be excised and/or liposuctioned.This excess of tissue is often removed with a combination of liposuction AND direct removal of the small gland via an axillary incision, in the underarm dome.  Occasionally a small seroma (yellowish fluid) can occur after this little procedure and needs to be aspirated.  Otherwise, plan on 6-12 weeks for healing.Hope this helps!Kindest regards,Dr. DuPere, aesthetic plastic surgeon

Although I understand your concerns, it is much too early to evaluate the outcome of the procedure performed.   Depending on exactly what was done during the procedure, best to evaluate the outcome of procedure 3 to 6 months from now.My best advice: continued patience and continue lose followup with your plastic surgeon. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be pleased with longer-term
