bottom of the abdomen? Is it skin only or does it include tightening of the
muscles? Will Liposuction also be necessary? Will it be performed in a hospital
with an overnight stay or in an independent out-patient facility? Will a
surgical assistant be needed? Will a board-certified anesthesiologist or a
nurse anesthetist be used? Will an (anti) pain pump be used?

All of these factors
influence the cost. In New Jersey it is probably different but for reference,
in Orange County, California the estimated range is $7000- $15,000 depending on
the variables above.

The cost for a tummy tuck depend on the type of TT. A mini tuck is a bout $6000 and an extended TT with liposuction is about $10000. The location ( hospital vs surgicenter) also may affect the total cost. Most practices offer financing. There are several factors that can affect the overall cost of a tummy tuck. How extensive and need/desire to combine other treatments (such as liooaucrion) are examples. That said a range of $5000-7500 is typical in oir practice for a full tuck.

While the cost is a very serious factor, it is a big mistake to base your decision solely on it. The cost for an abdominoplasty will certainly vary.  In our practice we charge base on a time estimate for the procedure.  This will set your OR costs and Surgeons Fees.  The procedure can range from 5 to 8K in the Atlanta area.  The biggest caution is do not shop solely based on cost.

thank you for your post.  Real self has the ability to show you reported costs in your area by patients.  In general, however, charges vary from surgeon to surgeon based on the demand for that surgeon in a given area.  Usually best not to shop for a surgeon based on price, but based on how comfortable you are with that surgeon and their results.

It depends on the area you are specifically in. For example I am in Fairfield County and our prices are different than the upper parts of the state. It also depends on the amount of work that is necessary. Estimates including anesthesia and operating room are about 10K.
