Hair transplant after 2 months. Is my donor area healing normally? Did I experience shock loss? (Photo)

You show a photo but there are no photos of what you looked like BEFORE. So it would be impossible to tell the difference.  Your donor hair in the photo does look thin.  If you are concerned it is best to follow up with your doctor.

Significant shock loss in the donor area is not common but certain can happen. In which case, you would expect to see it recover over the next 3-4 months. In order to know whether the thin donor appearance is due to over harvesting we would need to know how many grafts were harvested and over what area. Knowing you original donor density would also help. Do you have any photos of the donor area immediately pre and post op? 

Without pre op photos there is nothing to compare it to. That said, it all looks pretty thin. Good healing and growth

This does look thin but without before pictures and without knowing the number of grafts done it is hard to give a good answer. You can always go in for a follow up.

I would go back to your doctor and ask him these questions. The donor area does look sparse so I would ask your doctor about this look.
