I have to wear contacts, and without them I can't really function. Obviously I can't wear them during or after surgery due to my eyes swelling etc, but when can I put them back in ? I also heard glasses are a no no. Thanks.

In selected patients a tip rhinoplasty is a good operation. Trauma to the skin can trigger an herpetic outbreak if that is happen to you in the past. You would be covered by an antiviral prophylactically.
