I have a lump on the side of my nose. Is my nose just asymmetrical or could I have nasal cancer? (photo)

On the left side of my nose I have a soft 'lump' which is not very noticeable but I am able to feel it. It is not inside the nose but rather under the skin. I had also had a nose piercing at the age of 18 (I am now 42). The right side of my nose is flat and straight, whereas the other side is 'swollen'.

It is difficult to tell about the extent of the bump on your nose based on the picture.  Regardless, you should be examined by a doctor that is familiar with nasal anatomy.  You need to have your nose examined inside and out in order to determine if any testing is need regarding the mass.
